They are all passionate about ancient quilts and when collector Jane Lury's book came out, "The Wanderings of a Quilts Collector", the idea sprang up in the band to replicate some of their favorites.
Each chose the chosen one from her heart and here they are gathered in this wonderful book where Persian Embroidery, Fabulous Appliques and incredible Pieces are at their best!
12 quilts reproduced from the photo of the old quilt are fully explained in this book illustrated with beautiful photos. A very nice challenge for fans of exceptional pieces!
"The realization of these quilts has meant for us a sharing of happiness. It allowed us to connect with our friends around the world and with the authors of the original quilt. Through their work, these ancient quilters spoke to us and inspired us. "

We mistakenly made a mistake on pages 8 and 140 of our book "Labors of Love - Glorious Quilts Revisited" by Secret Sewing Sisters. The Atlanta Botanica Quilt, page 140, was directed by Kerry. However, the photograph of the artist represents Barbara, another Secret Sewing Sisters. We are sorry for this mistake and offer our most sincere apologies to Kerry and Barbara. Carol Veillon.
We will provide you with an answer as soon as possible.
